The best summer fair and expo in Central Alberta is taking place July 15 – July 19, 2026, welcoming thousands of attendees for entertainment, exhibitions, and midway attractions, is back for another year!  

Westerner Park takes pride in hosting Westerner Days and is seeking individuals who are responsible, energetic, and outgoing to help make this event possible!   

Position Overview  

The Ticketing & Guest Services Attendant plays a key role in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and positive guest experience during Westerner Days, taking place July 15–19, 2026. Reporting to the Tickets Alberta Manager, this position supports admissions operations, ticket scanning, RAD (Ride All Day) redemption, information booth services, and guest assistance throughout Westerner Park.

As a frontline representative of Westerner Park, the Ticketing & Guest Services Attendant assists guests with admissions, event information, wayfinding, and general inquiries while helping maintain smooth event operations. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced event environment.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility  

Under the direction of the Tickets Alberta Manager, the Ticketing & Guest Services Attendant is responsible for:

What You’ll Bring  

  • High school diploma or equivalent (completed or in progress) preferred  
  • Previous customer service, admissions, or event experience considered an asset  
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills  
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic event environment  
  • Comfortable using technology, including handheld scanning devices and ticketing systems  
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to pivot between assignments and operational needs as required  
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment  
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing guest concerns or operational challenges  
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions  
  • Availability to work all required shifts during Westerner Days from July 15–19, 2026, including days, evenings, weekends, and extended hours based on operational needs
