Position Overview
Westerner Park is seeking service-oriented and reliable Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Services team. These casual positions play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of events by providing professional beverage service, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, supporting guest experiences, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in accordance with established standards and regulations.
Under the direction of the Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage Operations, Bartenders are responsible for supporting bar operations, maintaining high service standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. These positions are scheduled on an as-needed basis based on event requirements and operational needs. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on event schedules and business requirements.

Position Overview
Westerner Park is seeking service-oriented and reliable Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage Services team. Key Responsibilities
Bartenders are responsible for the following:
- Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests while maintaining Westerner Park’s service standards.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and service standards.
- Mix ingredients accurately and efficiently while maintaining knowledge of standard drink recipes and preparation methods.
- Prepare garnishes and beverage accompaniments, including slicing and preparing fruit as required.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal age requirements for the purchase and consumption of alcohol.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol service practices, including determining when service should be discontinued.
- Follow AGLC guidelines and Westerner Park procedures related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, including monitoring consumption, refusing service when required, and supporting safe transportation options.
- Ensure bar areas are prepared for opening by completing setup activities, organizing supplies, and preparing service stations.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring and restocking alcoholic beverages, bar supplies, paper products, and other service items.
- Ensure beverages are properly stocked, chilled, and ready for service.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately, and follow established cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, equipment, counters, and service stations by completing regular cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout events.
- Assist with event setup, food service support, and post-event cleanup activities as required.
- Support concession operations when requested or required.
- Adapt to changing event requirements and perform other related duties as assigned.

Here is What your Bring
The ideal candidate will have:- Minimum one to two years of bartending experience in a hospitality, catering, banquet, or event environment.
- Current ProServe certification or the ability and willingness to obtain certification within three months of hire.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, drink recipes, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Experience providing exceptional guest and client service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests, clients, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized during busy events.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Strong accountability, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow direction and maintain established service standards.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance by following uniform requirements and personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on event schedules and operational needs.
- Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
